There are many different techniques at the core of the Ta Mo Tao system. We practise to develop all aspects of the fighting arts such
- as foot and leg work (which includes stepping, hooking, kicking, trapping and sweeping the legs)
- striking with all parts of the body (fists, palms, elbows, knees, torso etc.)
- seizing and locking (chin na)
- throwing (shuai jiao).
As well as learning the above, senior students are encouraged to learn a variety of different exercises, each with their own unique purpose
